The thought of playing an online game, with the possibility of winning valuable NFTs and in-game tokens on a daily basis, would intrigue anyone, and why wouldn’t it? Who wouldn’t like to make some passive income during their leisure time? Hold your breath if you belong to this lot. We are about to introduce you to something you may have never experienced or witnessed before. Sit back and put your seatbelts on because it is going to be one amazing rollercoaster ride.
The Apocalyptics is one of only a handful of Web3 Real Time Strategy Games, or RTS games as they are commonly known. Based upon a fictitious post-apocalyptic era that was the result of a meteorite collision on the Australian subcontinent. The aftereffects? Life was almost completely wiped out, leaving behind only a handful of people who survived the cataclysmic collision.
Followed by a number of earthquakes, floods, and other natural disasters, the world went into depravity and chaos. The remaining people, or better said clans, started declaring wars on each other, further lending a hand into the destruction and damage. Things were bad, but the remaining people still tried their best to keep their calm until the rogue nations declared war on each other in a desperate attempt to capture the remaining resources on the globe. That’s when things became out of control and ultimately led to the start of the game, The Apocalyptics.
Surviving the extinction-level event after the meteorite collided with the planet, was merely a challenge because what came afterward was what the real deal was about. Since there was no government left to intervene and neutralize the rising feuds, disputes became the story of every now and then. Such clashes led the world down a path of despondence and despair.
Given the background information of the game, we are sure you are caught off the hook. Now the question that surfaces is, who are you going to be when you play The Apocalyptics? All the players are people who have survived the meteorite fender-bender, and now will build their own base camps, while also scavenging for resources in order to power up and survive.
Players will be able to scavenge in increasing amounts as they level up for the in-game token once they power up. The Apocalyptics’ internal economy is powered by APOC. Players will be able to use APOC to speed up improvements, heal troops, train troops, buy different weapons from their base shop, participate in Tournaments, buy NFTs from the internal market, and much more! The game’s developers have said, they made certain that the game is perfectly balanced and will never be a ‘pay to win’ game. They are gamers too and understand what it’s like to be overwhelmed by wealthy opponents. As a result, they have ensured that each player’s power escalates in a balanced and fair manner. Their ultimate approach is to host an even game, so none of the players will ever have a sense of injustice, if they weren’t able to put more money into the game, like some of their fellow gamers.
This is the level four Barracks structure (Fig.1), where the players train their troops. This barrack is updated to the fourth level of its progression. The first level looks like this (Fig.2). Fig.2
The existence of a huge discrepancy in the RTS/NFT gaming industry made the creators of this game realize they had to create something that would be ground-breaking for everyone. “The majority of NFT Games promised a lot at the time of their launch; however, the final product produced by them is quite different than the claims they made. We decided we had to make a difference and lead the way in the blockchain gaming sector after identifying this problem. Our aim is to only provide high-quality, world-class gaming content. There are currently only three RTS/ NFT Web3 based games available in the Blockchain Gaming sector. Compared to the ocean of RTS (Real Time Strategy) games built on web2, this is a tiny puddle. Warcraft, Rise of Kingdoms, StarCraft, Age of Empires, Anomaly, Command & Conquer, DOTA 2, and Warhammer are just a few examples of RTS Web2 games. The total income of all RTS games is in the tens of billions of dollars, which basically is a piece of fantastic news for game makers. However, despite the fact that users spend endless hours, if not years, playing, they aren’t entitled to receiving any pecuniary benefits from these games.”
The Apocalyptics’ goal is to establish a Web3 RTS game, in which ALL players profit from playing, in one way or another. This is accomplished through the intricate game mechanics that are currently being developed. Players scavenge for in-game tokens, earn valuable NFTs, exchange NFTs, and do other things. With the base, players can construct base camps and numerous structures such as barracks. Hospitals, shops, as a start. These base camp constructions have all the necessary components to make The Apocalyptics an excellent RTS game! The Apocalyptics’ creators aspire to be the Web3 equivalent of the top RTS Web2 games on the market.
Our goal is to make The Apocalyptics one of the best-rated games in the RTS/NFT world, where players enjoy the excitement of the game, as well have a chance to be rewarded with valuable NFTs and APOC. Once you begin playing, the plot will catch your interest, providing you with the excitement and adventure you have always desired while playing NFT games.
